Supreme Fiber AFG Boards (Slabs)
Rockal Supreme Duct slab is used for the thermal insulation of HVAC Ducts ,cold water storage, feed and expansion tanks. Duct slab is a semi-rigid insulation slab, faced with aluminum fibre glass .
Description
Rockal Supreme Duct slab is used for the thermal insulation of HVAC Ducts ,cold water storage, feed and expansion tanks. Duct slab is a semi-rigid insulation slab, faced with aluminum fibre glass. confirming to EN 13162 & ASTM C 553 & ASTM C 665 & ASTM 592-12. It is preformed porous and flexible or semi-rigid glass fibers roll with very good performance on thermal, acoustic and fire insulation.
Application
Supreme Boards (Slaps) Section are used for:
- Thermal & Acoustic Insulation of concrete floors in order to reduce energy losses & transmission of impact sound.
- Easy to handle & cut to suit intricate shape
- Light in weight, strong & resilient.

FACING
ROCKAL Supreme Boards (Slaps) are available unfaced or faced to suit the application Aluminum fiber-glass facing (AFG) .The facing consists of a layer of aluminum foil laminated to a layer of glass fiber material,
usually fiberglass. The aluminum foil serves as a reflective surface, which helps to block the transfer of radiant heat and its also tear and fire resistance. The glass fiber layer, on the other hand, provides thermal insulation by trapping air pockets within its structure. Together, the aluminum foil and glass facing create an effective insulation product that reflects radiant heat away from the building and prevents heat from conducting through the material.
